a record $950 million to CBPFs in 18 countries
ALLOCATIONS
Funding from CBPFs is directly available to UN agencies, national and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and Red Cross/ Red Crescent organizations.
In 2018, CBPFs allocated more than $836 million to 686 partners in 18 countries to support 1,455 critical humanitarian projects. These projects targeted millions of people with healthcare, food aid, clean water,
shelter and other life-saving assistance.
FUNDING OVERVIEW
CBPF receives broad support from United Nations Member States, the private sectors and individuals. Contributions from donors around the world are collected into single, unearmarked funds to support local
humanitarian efforts.
