DB & PFL for Farm Workers

The new Farm Laborers Fair Labor Practice Act, which took effect on January 1, 2020, is set to bring sweeping changes for New York state’s farm workers and their employers. Among them is that employers are now required to provide disability benefits as well as paid family leave to farm workers. New DB Payroll Report

NYSIF is pleased to announce that we have updated our Disability Benefits Payroll Report for policy periods ending after 1/1/2020 based on customer feedback. The notable enhancements include a simpler format separating disability benefits and paid family leave reporting, and clearer instructions to complete the report. To ensure your policy is accurately priced, please login to your NYSIF disability benefits account at the end of each policy period to complete your report.
