The Nevada Division of Insurance is warning agents and producers in the state to be on the watch for phishing emails targeting insurance professionals and claiming their licenses might be revoked if an “amendment fee” isn’t paid via a link embedded in the email.

The emails, see an example below, are sent from INSURANCE LICENSING [email protected] with the subject line: “Nevada Division of Insurance AMENDMENT FEE,” according to the state’s insurance department. If you received a suspicious email, do not click on the links and delete it immediately.
