IABC is the most valuable professional organization I’ve ever been a part of. IABC keeps me on top of my communications game through professional development opportunities at the state, regional and international level. Through IABC, I’ve joined a phenomenal network of communications peers with whom I can share best practices. IABC is an excellent resource and resume item for my work with the City of Edmonton. With many of their recent communicator roles, they list membership with an organization such as IABC as a valued asset. This has really opened up my career options for advancement. It is also very inspiring to listen to the various speakers they bring in to learn more about the industry, hear their success and learn about how I can develop the skills needed to further my career goals.
