The experienced Colorado Springs insurance broker represents many highly rated companies. She takes pride in educating her clients about their Medicare Plan Options year after year.

Think 65 and Kelli Holt are pleased to report that the Colorado Springs Medicare insurance agency is available to consult with clients about insurance needs and plans in 2023. Medicare is a federal health insurance program offering coverage to people 65 years of age or older, people who are under 65 and have specific types of disabilities, and people of all ages with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).

Medicare covers various healthcare services, including hospital stays, doctor visits, and prescription drug coverage. Kelli offers a free consultation to compare the plans’ costs, estimate savings, and help clients with enrollment. The Think 65 website offers a sign-up to receive the unbiased Guide to Medicare distributed by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. The offering is the official U.S. Government Medicare Handbook. The agency will email it to customers at no charge.

Medicare is separated into four parts: Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B make up Original Medicare. Medicare Part C plans are known as Medicare Advantage Plans. Medicare Part D provides prescription drug coverage under Prescription Drug Plans. Medicare Part A or hospital insurance covers skilled nursing facility care, inpatient hospital stays, hospice care, and home health care. When an individual earns 40 Medicare Tax Credits by paying Medicare Taxes while working for a decade, they will not pay a premium for Part A; it is considered premium-free.

Additional details are available at https://think65.com/

Medicare Part B Medical Insurance covers doctor visits, outpatient care, preventive services, and medical equipment. Medicare Part B is not free; most people will pay the standard premium, which can change yearly. When someone is considered a high-income earner, they will pay a higher monthly premium for Medicare Part B through IRMAA, an Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount.

Medicare Part C is also called Medicare Advantage. It is an all-in-one replacement to Original Medicare that private insurance companies offer. It typically includes Part A and Part B benefits, additional benefits that Medicare does not provide. Medicare Advantage Plans can also include Part D Prescription Drug Plan Coverage.

Medicare Part D provides Prescription Drug Coverage under standalone prescription drug plans that private insurance companies offer. Every Prescription Drug Plan has a register of covered drugs called a Formulary. Each Formulary is also broken into tiers, ranging from Tier 1 to Tier 6. If a drug the customer is prescribed is not on the Formulary, they can request an exception, pay out-of-pocket for the medication, or file an appeal to see if the plan will cover it. Formularies differ from plan to plan, so before choosing a Prescription Drug Plan, ensure that the medications are included in the Formulary.

Medicare supplement insurance, also known as Medigap Plans, is a type of insurance policy offered by private insurance companies that helps pay for some of the costs not covered by Original Medicare. Although there are ten different Medigap Plan Types, the most common are Plan F, Plan G, and Plan N.

Choosing a Colorado Springs Medicare agent or agency is an important decision. The Medicare Insurance Agents at Think65 are well-trained in Colorado Springs Medicare Supplement Plans, Colorado Springs Medicare Advantage Plans, and other Medicare Plans in Colorado Springs. The representatives at Think65 work with many carriers; they are considered Medicare Brokers. This organizational structure means they work for clients, not insurance companies. They will provide free Medicare help, and customers will not pay for their services.
