health and vitality. The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service provides
educational programs and resources to help businesses and entrepreneurs take advantage
of untapped market opportunities and enhance their competitive edge based on the latest
research findings and technology.

We also help community leaders who are interested in supporting entrepreneurial development

COVID-19 RESOURCES FOR TAX PROFESSIONALS

CARES Act Webinar Recording

University of Illinois recently provided a webinar on the various provisions included
in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.  They are now providing
the recording of that webinar for you to watch and rewatch for the rest of 2020.

Tax filing deadline extended for individuals and corporations

Tax filing deadline extended to July 15th for individuals and corporations.  Secretary
of Treasury announced that tax filing deadlines for individuals, trusts, and corporations
have been extended until July 15, 2020, instead of April 15th.

Tax Schools

Income tax preparers can earn up to 16 hours of IRS-approved continuing professional
education at our tax schools.  We’ll announce plans/dates for these trainings later
than normal due to COVID-19.
